Exercises in Photography

I thought I would give you an update on the Leaf Tank. I'm still liking the knit. It goes fairly fast. It would go faster, but my elbow imposes outside limits on how much I can do at any one time. Sigh.
For entertainment value, I present the pictures I took in various lighting conditions.
Picture 1. Flash photography.
Picture 2. Filtered (through a curtain) natural light.
Picture 3. Natural light, no curtain. Picture 4. Unfiltered natural light and flash.

I think I like the fourth one the best. You can see the details and some shine in the yarn. Pictures 2&3 just look washed out. Picture 1 is a black blob.

So today's lesson, kids, is use more than 1 lighting source, if you can.

Oh, and the Leaf tank is about half done.
