Back in October when we got Raven from the Humane Society, they told us he was about 3 years old. 
We tried giving him some catnip and he didn't seem to care one way or another for it. Which is possible. Some cats don't like it. However, young cats also don't respond to it.
The other day I put some catnip down for my 2 older girls and Raven joined in with the rolling around and stuff. So, apparently, he was even younger than we thought, all those moons ago.
So much for getting an older cat who had outgrown the kitten-crazies!
