I have managed to iron all the squares and sewed in the ends on all of them but one. I found a lonely one I missed in the bottom of the bag. I'll deal with it, eventually. Today I sewed up one 'cube' of mitred squares. It's about all I can manage at one go. Getting the stripes to line up is,um, fiddly.
This is the 3rd square out of quite a few that I have sewn up. Onwards!
I can't wait to see that finished ness- it looks awesome.
By the way- on my blog you called it a "Man Cold" Except I forgot I complained about that and I'm thinking it was some sort of midwest (I don't even know if you're from there) expression. Like "Geez, it's mancold outside today." Now I get it and yes that's what it is
After seeing the progress of the squares, I think we're going to have a hard time giving this blankie away to the lovely little Lucia--we may want to keep it for ourselves! (Though I suspect the lure of creating more space in a suitcase for the trip back from Italy may hasten the giving away of the blankie. hahaha.)
<DIV>so very true. I know I'm going to be carting around to work and anyhwhere else I think someone might appreciate it to show it off...</DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV>c</DIV> <DIV style="FONT: 10pt arial">
I spend my time reading science fiction/fantasy and tossing odd objects around for the cats to chase. Oh yeah, and I squeeze some time knitting in there too!
