Trainknit Chugging Along

My Trainknit is chugging along. The pattern calls for sewing the 2 ends together. I'm debating using a ribbon to tie it together, kinda like a corset. I'm going to bring a yarn sample to the fabric store methinks, to see if I can find some nice ribbon.
