Stats

Yarn: Sweet Sheep BFL superwash. super skein. (about 800 yards)
Needles size: 7
Time to completion: approx a month (project monogamy FTW)
Diameter of shawl: 46 inches

The cast on was a complete and utter pain. After I got it, a friend on Rav, upon hearing of my frustration, told me of a trick used in circular starts with few stitches: cast on with doubled yarn for half the number of stitches and then 'spread' the stitches out. The errata on the project page has NOT been put into the pattern, so please make sure you know where the errata goes!

Otherwise, this is a mindless knit once you get into the repeat section and is very impressive once it is finished.

ciao

I'm so far behind your blog didn't even recognize me. Love the shawl. Circulars starts are a pain. I make a crochet chain of the number of cast on stitches and do it that way.
Wow! That is lovely! Nice job.
Gorgeous, Carol! I love how the swirling colors play off the swirling eyelets.
That i s stunning! Congratulations
Oh, beautiful!

I got a page saying your blog had been taken down. Rebooted my machine, tried again and there you are. Dunno what's going on with that.
