Fix

My clog/slippers developed a hole or 4. Not feeling like knitting a whole new pair right now as I am working on a couple of other projects I thought I would fix em.

The before pic (well, the 'I got started and then realized I should take a 'before' pic' ) :

Then I needle felted some fibre I had lying around onto the holes:

Tada! Like almost-new! I was a bit concerned the bottom of the slipper would feel lumpy, but it doesn't. I can't tell there is a patch at all. Or 4 patches, as the case may be.

Nice fix! Hee hee, I love that you picked brown roving.
I would never have thought of that. Thank you!
cool idea! I love it, and would not have thought of it. But definitely going to use it...
Great way to save a pair of well loved slippers! Hope your Valentine's Day is special and filled with love!
I would probably sew some leather I have in my bottom drawer - only because I have beither felt nor felt needle!
Great you saved that pair!
I did that needle felting with a few tiny holes in socks before. Better than darning them.
