Cowl

I am currently working on a cowl. It is taking much longer than I had thought, as the tooth that needs to have a root canal (this tuesday!) is complaining bitterly. Which means the heavy duty painkillers. Which are NOT conducive to knittng, as I discovered after I had to rip out an entire evening's work. So, here is the cowl thus far:

It's not too feminine is it? It's a gift. For a male. I think it's got some texture without being 'lace-like', but now I am second guessing myself....

as long as you don't block it out and "open up" the pattern, this will totally work for a guy.
No second-guessing necessary--the cowl is very handsome! Also a great color for a guy. Good luck with the tooth. Hope it's better soon!
I think it's a great pattern for a guy. Doesn't look too feminine at all. :) From the wife of a dentist, wishing you a pain-free procedure. Feel better!
Hope your procedure went ok. I knit the Mediteranean shawl while on Cymbalta and experiencing narcolepsy. It was a wonder I didn't have to frog.

I think it should look good for a male, depending if he likes cowls. What pattern are you using? I'm trying to decide on a simple cowl for my mother.
