NOT with Extra Protein
I like to sit on my deck. I like to have refreshig beverages while sitiing on my deck. I do not like having bugs befoul my refreshing beverage. I have devised a method to prevent said bugs from committing suicide in my refreshing beverage:

Fibercraft opportunity! Some people make covers for their outdoor beverages.
One idea - a round of fabric, larger than the top of the glass, with a little lace around the edge, and beads dangling off the lace to weigh it down.
Or, knit or crochet a round, adding beads to the edge.
